Rocket, was introduced in 1946 and did not reach being
a technical success until 1952. Prior to that, it
was all fountain pens and pens with ink wells.
During
WWII special pens were made for the military. They
included pens which could fly in unpressurized airplanes.
Did
you know that some fountain pens and writing instruments
are sold and auctioned for as much as $60,000? Some
with values up to
$10,000 will be on display at the San Francisco International
Pen Show.
Dealers,
collectors and experts from around the world and the
United States will be exhibiting, selling and trading
